OhioHealth
Jeff Sczpanski, OhioHealth Sports Medicine Supervisor, had a lot of people that they were responsible to——schools, hospital systems, coaches—for communicating vital information.
They needed powerful data and reporting to back everything up all they were doing: How healthy is the athlete or team? How much money were they spending on resources, how many referrals were going out?
St. Vincent Sports Performance
The Outreach Coordinator at St. Vincent’s needed to be the best provider of healthcare for their athletes.
When it came to concussion management, they needed to get everyone on the same page, including parents, the athlete, coaches, administrators and the physicians.
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
This AT needed a way to improve his daily workflow. He had no way to securely digitize documents and forms. In fact, one of his athletes lost their paper SCAT5 to show to the doctor.
He also had to sort through so much paperwork that he had no time to truly focus on the athletes.
Youth Athletics Coach
This coach had to call, text, and email his athletic trainer many times a day, before every practice and game, to find out which athletes had to be limited and what he needed to do with them.
If he saw an athlete get injured and show up for practice a few days later, if they parent or AT wasn’t available, he had to rely on the athlete on whether they could participate.
Improving Documentation
These ATs usually only had time to document the “big” injuries because of the time required. They usually had to wait until they got home or back to the office.
They needed something portable to allow them to document on-the-go and be updated by ATs at multiple locations around the community.
Improving Communication
They needed a way to communicate better with coaches, patients, parents, and other Athletic Trainers.
How did they get everyone on the same page utilizing secure and easy-to-use communication?
And even a word from a parent!
